Analog Board Game Design

Students collaborate to design and build a physical game

Spookeasy card game by Gray McKay, Cindy Kao, Jodi Zatezalo, Whitney Baxter.

in Spookeasy, players compete to build the best speakeasy bar for ghosts and ghouls earning points based on clientele and unlocked rooms


 

Patobara, by Alyson Lam, Raven Liu, Christian Baker, Ivan Kostovski, Mitchell James

Patobara features Chinese Checkers mechanics with focus on color. This game was specifically designed for colorblind accessibility featuring contrasting shape aligned with color variety

Personal Studio Space Design

Students use linear perspective to render a studio space that meets their needs and personality

 

Character Design

Students design characters within a cyberpunk world they collaboratively create. Visuals include a character and they space they live/work in.

 

Storyboarding

Student interpret and visualize a Shel Silverstein poem using storyboarding and color as the narrative device.

 

Mahsup

Students explore inventive spirit with portmanteau: creating a new word by mashing together 2 existing words. The new word is visually defined by applying isometric perspective to the lettering.
